[McIDAS #UKN-727350]: Surface station database for contouring METAR parameters....where is it?

Alright, in my best mechanic's voice:  Well THERE'S yer prahblem!

gdplot3_gf is a Gempak program, not a McIDAS one.

The short answer here is you need to filter that station out from your Gempak 
command(s) to prevent it from being used.  You can do that with modifying the 
AREA parameter (https://unidata.github.io/gempak/man/parm/area.html), you might 
need to do that in more than one place depending on your scripting process.

Since this is no longer McIDAS related I'm going to close this ticket out, 
though I'll update it if/when I find out more about STNDB.CORE.
