[McIDAS #CXH-788694]: Password for download McIDAS software no working

Hi again,
I just verified that there have been no updates in the SSEC code repository to
the Himawari ADDE server source since 2018, and the code include in the Unidata
McIDAS v2021 release are identical to the code that SSEC included in its v2021.1
release.
I did see, however, that a comment I made in my earlier reply was off the mark.
The IMGLIST output you sent _does_ show that the Sensor Source was correctly
extracted/determined from the image being listed:
Here is the snippet that I am referring to:
proj: 0 created: 2022263 162000

The Sensor Source (ss) is listed as being 289, and this is correct and
does match an entry in the SATBAND file included with the SSEC v2021.1
and Unidata v2021 releases. Here is the relevant snippet:

Given this, I am at a loss to understand much less explain the
'No Information Available' indication in the IMGLIST listing you sent.
Question:
- what was the MCPATH environment variable value that was in-place when you
ran the IMGLIST listing from the command line (you ran imglist.k which shows
that you were running it from the Linux command line, and not from within
an interactive McIDAS session)?
What I am thinking is that there is another, older copy of SATBAND
in one of the MCPATH directories that is being used by IMGLIST, and
not the one that is included in the v2021 release.
Another way to see if there are multiple copies of SATBAND in your MCPATH
is to use DMAP:
dmap.k SATBAND
The other thing that may be of help in troubleshooting is whether the HRIT
images you are trying to use are from Himawari 8 or 9. The reason that this
tmay be helpful is so I can download appropriate sample data from the JMA
website:

re:
> i sent some HRIT files vis dropbox did you receive them ok?
We have not (yet) received any notice of files being available via Dropbox. Who
should have received the email notification?
Cheers,
Tom
