Hi Mike, I did what I outlined in my previous email: <as 'mcidas' on the Ubuntu VM> cd $MCSRC make clobber -- modify mcar.sh and mccomp.sh make make install.mcxall The build and installation went without a hitch, so the hack that I made works on your Ubuntu VM and on our systems. The change I made in mccomp.sh checks the version of gfortran and adds the additional flags if the version is greater than or equal to 11. I then did the following: cd $MCHOME rm mcunpack mcidasx2020a.tar.gz I removed the old versions of mcunpack and mcidasx2020.tar.gz since I put updated versions out on our FTP site for you to re-grab.
