[McIDAS #JDP-876809]: VISSR/VAS (GOES-7 and earlier) AREA files projection problems

I went to the NOAA/CLASS order page:

https://www.bou.class.noaa.gov/saa/products/search?sub_id=0&datatype_family=PRE_GVAR&submit.x=23&submit.y=4

And tried to select SMS-2 imagery for all three of the dates
you specified, and I always got 0 matches in the search.  Since
you evidently were successful at doing the search, perhaps you
can let me know what, if anything, I did wrong in the search.

Alternately, if you already have the images you want converted
to netCDF format, please make them available somewhere I can
download them, and I will try using McIDAS-X to convert them
to netCDF format.
