[McIDAS #LAF-410310]: Account access to McIdas

McIDAS-V is only available from the University of Wisconsin's Space Science
and Engineering Center (UW/SSEC).  Here is the URL for its download:

It sounds like you were trying to access the download for Unidata McIDAS-X.
Unfortunately, our license with the owners of McIDAS-X, UW/SSEC, to distribute
our version of McIDAS-X only allow access to educational institutions and
members in good standing of the UW/SSEC-operated McIDAS Users Group (MUG).
We are not allowed to give access to private individuals, commercial 
entities or government agencies unless UW/SSEC explicitly approves the
access (and this is pretty rare).

If you are interested in McIDAS-X, you will need to contact the MUG
directly:

I am sorry that our license to distribute McIDAS is so restrictive, but
our hands are tied by our licensing agreement.
