Hi, re: > I see RHEL 8 has now been officially released: > https://developers.redhat.com/blog/2019/05/07/red-hat-enterprise-linux-8-now-generally-available/ After a _long_ delay, yes, it has finally been officially released. re: > I know it is early yet, but we were wondering what the plans are > for McIDAS-X to be supported on RHEL 8. I can't speak for SSEC, but the Unidata policy (my policy wrt Unidata McIDAS-X) has always been to make sure that the package works on the latest, fully-supported release of RedHat/CentOS. Exactly when this will happen is, of course, TBD.
