[McIDAS #RCY-484528]: McIDAS-X 2017 installation on ubuntu16.04

It looks as though you installed a package in the OS after attempting the
make once, so it be that the configure run in the g2clib subdirectory
(/home/mcidas/mcidas2017/g2clib) did not have the information needed
to build a viable make file when it was run.  If this is the case, you
should "clobber" the current build attempt and restart the make:

<as 'mcidas'>
cd ~mcidas/mcidas2017/src
make clobber

make mcx

Please try this and let me know the results.
