Hi Sohail, re: > Can we load and show the netCDF file in McIDAS-X as an image? The only netCDF files that are supported as "input" datasets are the netCDF-4 files for the GOES ReBroadcast (GRB) delivered GOES-16 imagery and the netCDF-4 files for the NOAAPort delivered (so called SCMI) GOES-16 imagery. SSEC wrote the ADDE servers for the GRB imagery, and I wrote the ADDE servers for the NOAAPort SCMI imagery. Generic netCDF files are _not_ supported in McIDAS-X. re: > Is it possible to analyze netCDF files with ADT? No,not in McIDAS-X, at least. I seem to recall that ADT code was added to our Integrated Data Viewer (IDV) application a number of years back, but if the code is still there, it is old as I don't think that there has been any effort to update the code to the latest available from UW/SSEC/CIMSS. Even if the ADT code in the IDV had been updated, I can not say whether or not it would be usable by the ADT code in the IDV (again, if it is still there).
