Hi again Mike, Quick update/addendum to my previous note: If you force the result of an IMGCOPY to be 1-byte, the pixels in the copied image match those in the source image. Try the following: IMGCOPY NPGOESR/CONUSC01 GOESR.2 SIZE=SAME STYPE=VISR SF 1 ERASE F;IMGDISP NPGOESR/CONUSC01;MAP SF 2 ERASE F;IMGDISP GOESR.2;MAP LB 1 2 TERM L ON This should work for you the same way it did for me, but if it doesn't please let me know ASAP. NB: this is a (potential) workaround, not a fix...
