Hi Greg, re: bash vs sh > No joy. We were already aliasing sh to bash so no change. What I was trying to say was to edit mcinet2017.src and change the first line: from: #!/bin/sh to: #!/bin/bash The operating system creates the alias for 'sh'. re: > However we edited > the mcinet2017.sh file, line 713 and removed the solaris10 check as we were > confident that wouldn't be necessary. The script then ran and a > "mcinet2017.sh status" shows the service is now running. I'm still interested in the result when mcinet2017.sh is edited to change 'sh' to 'bash'.
