Just so you know, the new version of the LDM should be released either today or tomorrow. The new version should fix the situation that was causing the McIDAS-XCD decoders to exit without the need of adding the 'nohup' command in the LDM configuration file, ~ldm/etc/ldmd.conf, EXEC line. After upgrading to the newest LDM (again, later today or tomorrow) you can remove the 'nohup' from the EXEC line, or you can leave it in as it will cause no harm.
