Hi Justin, Still looking at ADDE serving of METEOSAT7 LRIT imagery... Comparison of the McIDAS-X ADDE server for MSG HRIT format imagery and the server we are attempting to use for your M7 LRIT format imagery seems to indicate that the 'C' in the segment file name: L-000-MTP___-MET7________-11_5_057E-000005___-201604151500-C_ |__ this C indicates that the data is compressed. In the MSG HRIT server, type MSGT, a 'C' in the name in the same position as it is for the LRIT imagery indicates that the data is wavelet compressed. The McIDAS-X ADDE server code for type FSDX does not contain the logic/code needed to deal with compressed data in the segment files. So, the question boils down to whether or not you can request uncompressed M7 LRIT data from EUMETSAT? If not, then the McIDAS-X server code will need to be updated to be able to handle compressed data in addition to uncompressed data. I am going to shelve looking further into this issue until you can check to see if you can get uncompressed M7 LRIT files.
