I'm out of answers tonight. :-( This is typically caused by the current working directory for 'pqact' not being ~ldm. I took a quick look at the ~ldm/etc/registry.xml file on weather3, and it looks like you took care of changing the <datadir-path> settings for 'pqact' and 'pqsurf'. Further investigation, and updating McIDAS-related LDM processing will require that I be able to login as 'ldm' on weather, weather2 and weather3. I tried the old password, but it didn't work for me.
