This should be easy for you now ** as long as you take care to setup the
process for defining the needed environment variables **.  I tried to
make this as easy as I could, and basically I based what I did on what
GEMPAK had done previously.

Correct.

But, you don't have to redisplay each frame in the loop.  IMGDISP can
replace the oldest image in a loop with a new one by use of the CYCLE=
keyword.
