[McIDAS #JTG-722928]: installation error

Hi Justin,

OK.

If you are becoming the user 'awips' by running 'su', you should remember
to add the '-' option in your 'su' invocation (e.g., su - awips) as this
says to use the environment of the user being SUed to.  If you leave this
off, your environment will be that of the user you SUed from.
