Downloads for Unidata McIDAS are available for licensed McIDAS-X sites via passworded (not anonymous) FTP only. I see that you ( address@hidden) are registered with the Unidata website and have been added to the list of sites/persons allowed to download Unidata McIDAS. You need to do the following to download the package/updates: - login to the Unidata website - proceed to the McIDAS section of the Downloads pages - download either the full v2009 distribution (which has all updates/bugfixes/etc applied) or the bugfix compressed tar file NB: - make sure to put the bugfix compressed tar file in the ~mcidas/2009/update directory and run the script 'mcupdate' to uncompress the bugfix/changed routines to their appropriate directories - CD to the ../src directory and run the appropriate invocation of make (e.g., 'make', 'make mcx', 'make xcd', or 'make all') re: > Thanks.
