I assume that McIDAS-X will be certified for RHEL 6 at some point, but I can not tell you when that will/should happen. FYI: Unidata's license to distribute McIDAS-X/-XCD restricts the sites that we are allowed to give access to educational institutions and members in good standing of the McIDAS Users Group (MUG) at the Space Science and Engineering Center (SSEC) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Users like yourselves (Harris Corp.) are required to get McIDAS directly from the MUG at SSEC.
