The first thing to do before retrying your EU MAKE tests is to delete this file. Also, after rerunning your test(s), make sure to see where this file resides. Again, it should be in the ~/.mctmp/nnnnn directory. > DMAP GRAPHICS > PERM SIZE LAST CHANGED FILENAME DIRECTORY > ---- --------- ------------ ------------- --------- > -rw- 4 Jan 11 15:07 GRAPHICS.KEY /home/mcidas/.mctmp/717520905 > -rw- 919 Jul 15 2008 GRAPHICS.PROG /home/mcidas/data > 923 bytes in 2 files This is correct. re: > DMAP TERMCHAR > PERM SIZE LAST CHANGED FILENAME DIRECTORY > ---- --------- ------------ ------------ --------- > -rw- 45056 Jan 11 15:10 TERMCHAR.001 /home/mcidas/workdata > 45056 bytes in 1 files This is also incorrect. You need to delete this file also. My suggestion is to: - exit any/all McIDAS sessions that are running - delete ~mcidas/workdata/FRAMENH.001 and ~mcidas/workdata/TERMCHAR.001 - restart your session - rerun the DMAP commands immediately to verify that these files were not recreated in the wrong (i.e., ~mcidas/workdata) directory. If they are, then there is something wrong in your environment... please send the output of 'env' (the output of the 'env' command from the McIDAS Text and Command window is gotten by typing !env). re: > I am also getting the same results running a batch file: I think the problem is the FRAMENH.001 and TERMCHAR.001 files which are located in your ~mcidas/workdata directory. Please delete these as I have indicated above and rerun your tests. re: > I run this file in and out of the mcidas session (in mcidas and with a > kickoff batchfile process.) I suspect that there is something not quite right in the setting of MCPATH in your kickoff process. re: > When I type EU TABLE TESTVAPOR I get the same wierd colors I sent you > before. This is completely weird. EU TABLE should only list the contents of the enhancement table TESTVAPOR. Again, I suspect the problem is being caused by FRAMENH.001 and TERMCHAR.001 being in the wrong directory. re: > When I reset an image and just say EU REST IMAGE then I start each line, > the first line works. It is the subsequent line that messes everything > else up. This is part of the reason I was not catching on too quickly! My comments above apply.
