Yes for both MacOS-X and Ubuntu.

FYI: Unidata's license to distribute McIDAS is limited to educational
institutions where the application will be used in direct support of
student education and research.  If you are asking about McIDAS for
private use (either business or personal), you will need to contact
the McIDAS Users Group (MUG) at the Space Science and Engineering
Center (SSEC) of the University of Wisconsin at Madison:
