Hi Samuel, re: > It looks like in section 9.8("Real-time Data Access - Gridded Data"), step 5, > line 2, should read: > > TE GRIDLOOP "GRDDISP RTGRIBS/NAM-ALL DAY=2002216 TIME=0 FHOUR=!1 LEV=500 > PARAM=Z CINT=60 MAP=USA PRO=MERC GRA=!2 LSIZE=6 LINT=2 SF=YES > > Instead of: > > TE GRIDLOOP "GRDDISP RTGRIBS/NGM DAY=2002216 TIME=0 FHOUR=!1 LEV=500 PARAM=Z > CINT=60 MAP=USA PRO=MERC GRA=!2 LSIZE=6 LINT=2 SF=YES Good catch! The problem arose when I changed the dataset group from RTGRIDS where there is a descriptor of NAM to RTGRIBS where the catch-all descriptor is NAM-ALL. Thanks for spotting this! I just fixed it in the Workshop and Learning guide web pages. > Also section 10.2.3 (GUI - Looping Satellite Images), Step 2, line 4 of > "Displaying a Loop of NEXRAD Images" doesn't seem to give you a "State" option > to click. OK. I'll have to investigate this one as the Workshop/Learning Guide section on the GUI came from Wisconsin. > However, the same general task can be accomplished using "MCGUI", instead of > "GUI". Yes, but in a different way. I coded the MCGUI to include the state in which the radars are located and sorted the list of stations by state so that one could find the radars in their state easily. Thanks for reporting the problems! Cheers, Tom **************************************************************************** Unidata User Support UCAR Unidata Program (303) 497-8642 P.O.
