Hi Hsie, re: trouble SSHing from cirrus to stratus > I have problem with Solaris 10 x86 as NISPLUS client. You can login now. Thanks for the fix. When I logged onto stratus I discovered that the scour script for McIDAS products (~ldm/util/mcscour.sh) had not been run for a couple/three days. This resulted in MD files (repositories for decoded POINT data) not being deleted before they got to be 10 days old. This, in turn, resulted in the files filling as new data was ingested (McIDAS decoders write to the end of MD files even if the data in the beginning is from 10 days ago). The net result for the end user was an apparent lack of current data. I ran the McIDAS scour script by hand after deleting the 10-day old files for today (Sunday GMT) and then changed the crontab entry for 'ldm' to run the script twice daily. We'll have to keep an eye on things to figure out why the scouring script was not run for awhile.
