[McIDAS #CNE-889859]: Setting up ADDE server

This archive contains answers to questions sent to Unidata support through mid-2025. Note that the archive is no longer being updated. This looks OK.

OK.  Since the dataset is LOCAL (LOCAL-DATA) access to the elements of
the dataset (AREA6000 in your case) will be handled entirely in the
account in which the dataset is defined (looks like for the user 'mcidas').

Given this, you should be executing the McIDAS commands from your $MCDATA
directory which should be ~mcidas/workdata.  Please do the following to
confirm all aspects of the ADDE dataset definition and send back all
output:

env

cd $MCDATA

pwd

dataloc.k LIST ER

dsserve.k LIST ER

dmap.k AREA6

imglist.k ER/GEC01V FORM=ALL
