Hi Ben, Yet another quick commment while I wait for the committee meeting I am in to start... I noticed that your DATALOC settings in the 'mcidas' account pointed to adde.ucar.edu for the RTIMAGES, RTPTSRC, and RTWXTEXT datasets. Since you are ingesting data and decoding it with XCD and ldm-mcidas, those data are available locally. So, I did the following to setup local access to the data: <as 'mcidas'> cd ~mcidas/data -- edit LOCDATA.BAT and setup local 'pointing' to datasets available on climate-db cd ~mcidas/workdata batch.k LOCDATA.BAT Your McIDAS installation is not setup to use the various datasets from your local store. By the way, my impression that crontab actions for the user 'ldm' were not running (previous message) was caused by me looking at the set of data hosted on adde.ucar.edu, not on the local machine. Your crontab actions are running as expected. Cheers, Tom **************************************************************************** Unidata User Support UCAR Unidata Program (303) 497-8642 P.O.
