[McIDAS #XGD-732939]: McIdas and LDM

Hi again Ben,

After sending you the previous note, I saw that you were not scouring the
images being written into the ~ldm/data/gempak/images directory tree.  To
implement scouring, I:

- created the directory ~ldm/util (already in 'ldm's PATH)
- FTPed some Tcl-based scouring scripts and made them
  executable
- added crontab entries to run the scouring scripts

I veified that the scouring worked by running the script by hand.  The
question is if it will run via the crontab entry!
