Hi Oana,
re:
>Thank you for your help with SATEPS data.
No worries. I talked with Brian Hughes while at the MUG meeting and he
told me he was surprised that Rich Garvey had not sent Andrei an
application form. I also learned that things are hectic back at SATEPS
at the moment. There is apparently alot of shuffling of people and an
possible major reorganization. This may be the reason tht Rich has not
been responsive.
>What about the MODIS data via Spanish ADDE? Do you have any news?
Nobody from Spain attended the MUG meeting, so I was not able to talk
to anybody directly. I did ask around to see who else might have MODIS
data, but all I found was sites with overpass data (the data that just
pertains to themselves). I was told by three different people that the
DAAC site that runs the nanuk server _should_ have full global data and
that it should be as complete as anywhere else. One suggestion was
that you might be expecting the data over or near your area more than
it is available. I have been assuming that you knew that the MODIS
data from nanuk will only be available twice per day for Romania. Am I
correct in this assumption?
Cheers,
Tom
