20041206: McIDAS MAKEMAP command

Hmm...  The GEMPAK files that I tested MAKEMAP with are the ones
that Chiz bundles with his distributions.  The 'Read segment: #pts:'
line tells me that makemap.k was looking for the total number of
points in a map segment, but it read 0 (zero).  This would seem
to say that the format of your ASCII map file is different than
the ones that I tested MAKEMAP with.

Can you send me/make available the map file you are trying to
use?  If it has a different structure, I will need to add a new
'GEMPAK' option to MAKEMAP.
