Are you still trying to get the test step to work, or did you take
my advice and finish the installation and then try to start McIDAS?
The error above shows that the 'mcimagem' application is not being
found in any directory included in your PATH. This typically
indicates an improperly setup .bash_profile file (assuming you
are using bash as your shell, of course).
It appears that you attempted to include .bash_profile and .bash_history
as attachments to your email, but they were 0 length.
