20030808: McIDAS can't seem to access data in RTPTSRC

Hi Robert,

Sorry I couldn't get to this sooner.  I just got back from 6 days of
mountain biking and hiking in celebration of my 53rd birthday :-)

I tried to ssh and do a traceroute to this machine, but I didn't get
anywhere.:

OK, sounds like the decoder for surface data.  Is there a file named
decodertypes.core in the ~mcidas/workdata directory?  I have made the
mistake of deleting *.core in ~mcidas/workdata and shot myself in the
foot as far as data decoding is concerned.

I will check things out as soon as I can get to the machine.  Right
now, it looks as if the box is behind a firewall that is blocking
our access.
