Robert,
McIDAS needs square image (DX=DY) pixels, whereas GEMPAK is happy
with rectangular pixels. The .nts example I provided does generate
DX=DY so that both McIDAS and GEMPAK users can view the data.
If you pick your own garea and kxky, then you should
maintain square pixels if you want to view the output in McIDAS.
