Yes, two small ones.  You can easily upgrade your distribution(s) by
doing the following:

<login as 'mcidas'>
cd mcidas7.8/update
ftp ftp.unidata.ucar.edu
  <user> umcidas
  <pass> XXXXXX
  cd unix/780/bugfix
  binary
  get mcupdate.tar.Z
  quit
./mcunpack
cd ../src
make mcx

If you are building using gcc/f2c, also run:

make install.mcx

That's it in a nutshell!
