20001115: McIDAS 7.7 tar file missing?

I have not officially released McIDAS-X 7.70 yet, but I expect to do so
by the end of the week.  I had placed the distribution tar file in the
FTP area previously for a couple of "beta" test sites, but I removed
it when I started seeing downloads from unexpeted sites.

Please wait to download the package after I make an announcement of its
general availability to the mcidas-x and ldm-users email lists.
