Bob, You can see the empty pid file was just created, and there's no ldmd > process running. Interestingly, when I link runtime to ldm-6.13.11, > everything works as advertised. Would you please send us the output from the command "diff -cw $HOME/ldm-6.13.11/bin/ldmadmin $HOME/ldm-6.13.12/bin/ldmadmin". Also, please send us the output from the command "$HOME/ldm-6.13.12/bin/ldmd -l $HOME/var/logs/ldmd.log" (it should just be a PID). Then stop the ldmd(1) process if it's running and send us the file "$HOME/var/logs/ldmd.log".
