Hi John, A couple of things: - after a weekend where latencies on all IDD feeds being received on both mammatus.ttu.edu and meso-file1-tosm.ttu.edu were near zero, the latencies for each feed that has more than a trivial amount of content started growing sometime after 16Z today, Monday September 30 - it had not dawned on me that mammatus is a VM until one of your most recent emails I now realize that you had mentioned this previously, but it didn't sink in. It would seem that the BIG question is what happens each weekday between about 16-21Z but not on the weekends at TTU?
