The first thing you need to do is uncomment the EXEC line that currently reads: #EXEC "rtstats -h rtstats.unidata.ucar.edu" NB: after making any change in the LDM configuration file, you need to stop and restart for the change to take effect Earlier I suggested switching the NGRID feed to iddb.unidata.ucar.edu. Since you note that you are having problems with the SATELLITE feed (which is know as DIFAX in earlier LDM versions), I would suggest that you switch that REQUEST to iddb.unidata.ucar.edu.
