[LDM #CTE-620214]: Satellite images slow or halt each day

Hi John,

Quick question and comment:

- is the machine in question mammatus.ttu.edu?

- it would _really_ help if your machines would report real-time
  statistics back to us

  If they are reporting, what name(s) are they reporting under?
  I ask because there are no ttu.edu machines showing up in our
  real-time stats web pages.

Now a request:

- can you send us your LDM configuration file, ~ldm/etc/ldmd.conf
  and the LDM registry file, ~ldm/etc/registry.xml

  I'd like to see the actual files, not listings of them.

And, here is a test:

- change one of the many REQUESTs you sent on the machine
  to our other IDD top level relay, iddb.unidata.ucar.edu

  For instance:

  change:

REQUEST NGRID ".*" idd.unidata.ucar.edu

  to:

REQUEST NGRID ".*" iddb.unidata.ucar.edu

A final comment:

The volume of data that the set of REQUESTs that are in place
on your machine (again, is this mammatus??) is VERY large.
To get an idea of how large, here is a snapshot of volumes
for the various feeds in the IDD:
