Erik, > Hello - I was wondering if I can use idd.unidata.ucar.edu as a source for > our LDM servers? You can *if* the IP addresses of your two hosts can be resolved into hostnames in the "noaa.gov" domain via a reverse DNS lookup. Unfortunately, neither a dig(1) nor an nslookup(1) on the hostnames resolves into an IP address -- so a reverse DNS lookup won't work.
