It appears, therefore, that you aren't filing any NAM products at all -- otherwise the grep(1) for them would have shown something. I'll ask our meteorologists if your pqact(1) entry # Pipe NAM #218 to files CONDUIT ^(data/nccf/com/nam.*awip12) !(.*)! FILE -close -log model/NAM/\1 is appropriate (they know the data better than I do).
