Kevin, I'm the LDM developer. > Is there an end-of-lifecycle date for the Unidata Local Data Manager software? LDM software development is funded by the National Science Foundation as part of the core mission of the Unidata Program Center. I'm not aware of any end-of-lifecycle date for the LDM. The LDM is an integral part of the National Weather Service's AWIPS weather forecasting package. All 122 NWS weather forecast offices run AWIPS and every AWIPS installation runs three LDM-s. The LDM codebase is on GitHub. I can't make any promises, but I think you're relatively safe. > We are looking to ingest weather radar data to incorporate into our custom > application. NEXRAD2 or NEXRAD3? I ask because NEXRAD2 products must be stitched together to form a complete scan and that's a little tricky. We can help.
