Bill, > I re-complied the code with out adding the new code with the same result. I take it "same result" means that the "ldmadmin stop" was successful. That's not quite what I wanted. I should have been clearer. My bad. I'd like you to rebuild and retry the LDM *starting from scratch but with the new code*. I want to see if the problem is caused by replacing two source-files in a directory hierarchy that still has all the old object files lying around. That's why I want you start with a "make distclean" but then rebuild using the new source-files.
