Hi Brendon, The most typical cause of the situation you are describing (UDP stream from Novra S300N is seen by 'tcpdump' but not by noaaportIngester(s)) is the local firewall not allowing inbound traffic on the Ethernet interface the S300N is connected to. The other situation we have seen is where the LDM installation did not include the final step where the setuid root permissions was set for: ldmd hupsyslog noaaportIngester dvbs_multicast This is easily checked via: <as 'ldm'> cd ~ldm ls -alt bin/ Your operative output should look something like: ... -rwsr-xr-x 1 root ustaff 127017 Jul 21 2016 ldmd ... -rwsr-xr-x 1 root ustaff 11263 Jul 21 2016 hupsyslog ... -rwsr-xr-x 1 root ustaff 412585 Jul 21 2016 noaaportIngester ... -rwsr-xr-x 1 root ustaff 323267 Jul 21 2016 dvbs_multicast Cheers, Tom -- **************************************************************************** Unidata User Support UCAR Unidata Program (303) 497-8642 P.O.
