Thomas, The autotools package is independent of the C compiler that you use. You can use its utilities even if you use the native SunOS compiler. Do you have the aclocal(1) utility? If so, does it generate the file "aclocal.m4" when executed in the top-level source-directory? > I am using Sun's c compiler for I don't have GNU compiler and so I don't have > autoconf. autoconf: Command not found.
