Hi Gilbert, There is a way to get around the LDM crashing problem you are having on weather3 if you know the 'pqact' invocation (EXEC) that is always the culprit: - create a shell script (e.g., Bourne/BASH script) that runs the 'pqact' invocation that is problematic (meaning it core dumps) and EXEC the script from the LDM configuration file, ~ldm/etc/ldmd.conf NB: the most important thing about the shell script would be that it exits without error. In case it is not obvious, this is a band-aid "fix", not a solution. The good news is that 'pqact' core files will continue to be generated so they can be examined. The bad news is that the core files will need to be dealt with (e.g., remove them once a week?)
