I just looked at the difference in the logging code between LDM version 6.6.5 
and 6.11.5 and found nothing that would explain the differences you're seeing. 
Consequently, I suspect that the difference stems from either a change to the C 
runtime library between the two LDM versions or the system logging daemon 
itself (it doesn't have to write what it's given).
