Your log messages indicate that the LDM server program probably doesn't have 
superuser privileges. Please send me the output from the following commands, 
executed by the LDM user:

    cd
    ls -l bin/ldmd
    mount
    bin/ldmadmin config
    bin/regutil

The pathname of the uldbutil(1) program should be "~ldm/bin/uldbutil". It's 
part of the LDM package.
