Arturo,

Before restarting your LDM, you can test your connection to the TAMU LDM with 
the command

  notifyme -vl- -f 'IDS|DDPLUS' -h idd.tamu.edu

You should then see IDS|DDPLUS data-product descriptions stream-by on your 
screen.
