Jeremy, Whoa! We're not that formal. :-) The entire LDM project has less than one person working on it. Consequently, it's more a matter of accumulating enough changes (for whatever reasons) to justify making a release. Occasionally, something arises that necessitates a sustained development effort (often motivated by a report from a user). Also, it's sometimes the case that the first release of a new feature has a bug (the code predates contemporary unit-, regression-, and integration-testing); consequently, several bug-fix releases can come soon after.
