If by "Red Hat 6.2" you mean "Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.2" (RHEL 6.2), then 
that operating-system is very close to Fedora 12 and Fedora 13, which have both 
had the LDM built on it.

If it makes any difference, the National Weather Service has standardized on 
RHEL 5 for their new AWIPS-II system.
