[LDM #AIX-687032]: Question about ldm6 environment variable

I recommend that you reinstall the LDM package using the "--sysconfdir" option 
of the configure(1) script, For example

    su - ldm
    ldmadmin stop
    cd src
    make distclean
    ./configure --sysconfdir=/some/where/else/etc >configure.log 2>&1 &&
    make install >make.log 2>&1 &&
    ldmadmin start
