Hi Neal, Good to talk to you on the phone... I am still trying to get LDM logging to work on your machine. I will write back when it is working correctly. On another note, I happened to look through /var/log/messages (as 'root') and I see that the GEMPAK surface decoder 'dcmetr' is having lots of problems. Here is a representative entry from the /var/log/messages log file: Feb 12 13:29:05 tsunami kernel: [86903.705553] dcmetr[29967]: segfault at 00000000 eip b7e2e1f4 esp bf8a3b04 error 4 Segmentation violations are _not_ good. We need to figure out why this is bombing. This may require that GEMPAK be rebuilt from source. Is this OK with you?
