[LDM #MAC-518090]: ldm on aix5.3?

The file "make.log" contained the following:

Making `all' in directory /orabackup/temp/ldm/ldm-6.6.5/src/protocol

/bin/sh: rpcgen:  not found.

It appears that you don't have the rpcgen(1) utility.

I've created a beta release that doesn't require that utility in order
to install the package.  The URL is
<ftp://ftp.unidata.ucar.edu/pub/ldm/beta/ldm-6.7.0.4.tar.gz>.
Please download it and try to install it like you just did with the
older distribution.
